How Cloudizero Works

Traditional media platforms route large binary payloads through server endpoints, causing high server load and expensive egress egress fees. Cloudizero uses a Presigned Direct-to-Storage architecture:

[Client / Backend]

1. Request presigned upload ticket → POST /api/storage/presign

2. Stream binary directly to Cloudflare R2 → PUT <presigned-url> (No server load!)

3. Register metadata & dimensions → POST /api/storage/record

[Neon Postgres indexes asset & returns instant CDN URL]

Zero Server Overhead

With direct R2 presigned URLs, your Next.js/Express server never has to buffer multi-gigabyte video or image files in memory.
